Wooden Lockers and Cabinets
We build wooden lockers and cabinets in Turkey, mostly office and teacher file cabinets and staff wardrobes for schools, universities, and administration. Bodies, shelves, and doors are 18 mm melamine-faced board, finished in the decor you choose.
Unlike our steel range, wood has no fixed model list. Each unit is made to your specification, so the shelves, sections, doors, and size are set to the job. Everything is supplied to importers, wholesalers, and project buyers on an inquiry basis.
Example types
A few of the builds we make most often. These are starting points, not a fixed catalog, so tell us your use and we adapt from here.

Office and teacher file cabinet
A full-height cabinet split into an upper and a lower lockable section, four doors in all. Files, folders, and supplies stay sorted between the two, and both sections lock, so shared paperwork is secure in an open office. The lock can be a key, dial, PIN, or fingerprint type on request.

Staff wardrobe with hanging rail
A wardrobe section with a rail for coats and uniforms, and a shelf above for a bag or a hat. It gives teachers and staff somewhere to hang full-length clothing that a shelf cabinet cannot take. For a busy staff room, a wall bracket and rounded corners are available on request.

Open and closed combination
Open shelving on top for books and everyday reach, with a lockable cabinet below for anything that needs putting away. One unit covers display and secure storage together. Where the split between open and closed falls is set to your layout, in standard or custom sizes.

Glass or plexi-door cabinet
Glass or plexiglass doors on the upper section, so the contents stay visible behind a locked door, with a solid lower section for what should be put away. It suits resources, awards, or reference material that people should see but not take. The frame and shelves match the decor of the run.

Multi-compartment locker
A bank of individual compartments, each with its own door and user, locked or left open like the ones shown here. The number and size of the compartments are set to the job, and the doors can mix decors, such as the oak and white here. It suits staff rooms, cloakrooms, and shared areas.

Our quality management is certified to ISO 9001:2015, with a scope that covers the manufacture and sale of steel and wooden furniture. It is a management-system certificate, not a product approval. Full detail is on Quality & materials.
Colors and finishes
Standard decors are maple, white, oak, and walnut, finished in melamine, lacquer, or paint. Wood does not have a fixed color set the way our steel range has its 12 standard RAL colors. For any other color, send us a reference, a decor code, a photo, or a physical sample. What we can match depends on what the board supplier has in stock, so we find the closest available match and confirm it with you before anything is cut.
Made to your specification
The internal layout is not fixed, and we do not list every possible combination. These are the layouts we build most often, with example shelf counts rather than limits.
- A lower section with doors over two or three shelves, and an upper section left open above it.
- A full-height door with a run of shelves behind it, five or so in a typical build.
- A glass or plexiglass window in the door.
- A hanging rail for staff clothing.
- An open and closed combination in one unit.
The shelf count is set to the job, not capped at the numbers above. If you need seven or eight shelves, we build seven or eight. Tell us the room and what needs to be stored, and we work the layout around it. Full bespoke and OEM detail is on our OEM & custom page.
Safety
A tall cabinet at only 36 cm deep can tip, so anti-tip hardware is standard on our 185 cm height. A wall bracket that holds the unit to the wall is available on request. So are rounded corners, and anti-pinch or piano hinges that keep fingers clear of the door edge in a busy school.
Where it's used
Wooden lockers and cabinets suit school offices, teachers' rooms, and staff areas, along with university departments and administration. They fit spaces where a warmer, furniture-style finish works better than steel.
The two-piece back panel
On an 80 cm unit, the back panel is either a single piece or two 40 cm pieces joined with a plastic connector down the middle. The two-piece back is what lets a flat-packed unit pack down small and flat, which is a real freight saving on volume orders. Both are your call. If you want a one-piece back, or the units shipped assembled, that is what we build.
Ordering
- Lead time is typically 20–25 days, and it varies with the specification. Wood is made to order, so it runs longer than the 10–15 days we quote for steel.
- No fixed minimum order. Orders under €2,000 carry a €150 customs handling fee.
- Samples are available. You cover the sample and its shipping, and the sample cost is credited back on a confirmed order.
- Payment: 30% advance and 70% before loading. A confirmed, irrevocable L/C at sight is also accepted.
- Backed by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing faults, running from the delivery date.
- Incoterms: EXW, FCA, CPT, CIP, FOB, CFR, CIF, and DAP. See Export & logistics for details.
- Packing is assembled or flat-packed, your choice. A flat-packed unit with the two-piece back panel packs flatter and lowers freight on volume orders. Packing data is confirmed with each quotation.
Frequently asked questions
How does made-to-specification work in practice?
Send us the room, the number of users, and what needs to be stored, along with a sketch or the wall dimensions if you have them. We work out the shelves, sections, doors, and size, then confirm a drawing with you before anything is cut. Nothing goes into production until you approve that drawing.
I need a color that is not maple, white, oak, or walnut. Can you match it?
Yes. Send a reference, a decor code, a photo, or a physical sample. Colors depend on what the board supplier has in stock, so we find the closest available match and confirm it with you before anything is cut.
Is flat-packing worth it, or should I order assembled?
It depends on your volume and the labor you have at the other end. A flat-packed unit with the two-piece back panel packs far flatter, which lowers freight on a large order. Assembled units cost more to ship but arrive ready to place, which suits smaller quantities or sites without an install team.
Why is the wooden lead time longer than the steel one?
Steel lockers come from a fixed range, so they move faster. Each wooden unit is built to your specification, from the cut list to the finish, which takes 20 to 25 days rather than the 10 to 15 we quote for steel. The extra time is the made-to-order work, not a delay.
